In 2012, Carolyn had the honor of meeting one of her personal idols, His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. Not only did she meet him, she also gifted him the first 14kt gold-filled ALEX AND ANI Precious bangle with a bead inscribed “ONE PEOPLE.” It was a beautiful expression of love and admiration for all he has done in the world. This bangle is truly unique and meaningful in that it is one of two ever made. Carolyn wears the other, a constant reminder of that special day.

He is respectful of the world we live in and strives to make it better through his compassionate teachings.
